My professor believes that the way you can tell if a painting is finished is if you can look at it and say, "I love you!" (and the painting says "I love you!" back). I don't think that my painting and I are ready for that kind of a commitment -- but I am rather fond of how it's turning out. See for yourselves:

I have not yet mastered the art of painting fabric, despite success in my other WIP. Getting there, though. And the fruit itself still needs a lot of work. But I can honestly say that I like it -- and those who have listened to me groan about my artwork know that this is certainly progress. :)
