Leb wohl and farewell
A year ago, I was sitting in the Tuscan sun, enjoying the view from the terrace at Santa Chiara; the day before, I had travelled to Firenze for the second time, and had experienced the wonders of the Uffizi Gallery.
Today, I said good-bye to Micki as she embarked on her own European trip. I know she's going to have a wonderful time and it will be an unforgettable experience. Her plane's probably taking off right about now...
I, meanwhile, am going to go out and drink, so I don't spend all night bemoaning the fact that I am ever so alone, except for the cats. (And don't worry, Micki; I fed your spoiled brats.)
