Sigh.
A couple of weeks ago I managed to find a used copy of the brand new Morrissey album, You Are The Quarry, for eight dollars, and it hasn't left my car's CD player since. I love it like mad.
Morrissey (as well as the Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, and the Thrills -- not a bad lineup) was going to be in Dallas at Lollapalooza in August -- and, I thought, maybe I can talk Leah into going with me because, you know, surely among all the stuff I like, she'd find something that she likes, and it would be teh awesome. So, I surf into Lollapalooza's website, only to find that the entire tour has been cancelled. Gah!
And you know what else? The Finn brothers are coming to town in August, too, and I'm not going to be able to see them, either, because I'll be in Canada.
Life's not fair, I tell you.
