A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

Meh.

Another busy, exhausting day. We were slammed all during my daytime shift, so I was running back and forth between training, barring, the constant, unending barrage of drive through, and doing markdowns for the new summer phase. I got out thirty minutes late because it was so darn busy, and stayed thirty minutes after I clocked out to do the drawing for the promotional chalkboard. Perhaps this was not the best week to choose to work six days, but I did want the hours...

I'm thinking about going up to see if anyone's hanging out at the pool hall next door to the Starbucks (a likely event, given that Tuesday is free pool night), rather than stay here and be bored out of my skull for the rest of the evening. It depends on how lazy I feel.

I need to go grocery shopping, too, but I'd rather put that task off as long as possible, as usual.

The big going-away party for everyone is this Thursday. My manager got the new store-opener position and will soon be leaving our store to the mercy of the higher-ups. We still don't know who our new manager is or what s/he'll be like. The party on Thursday ought to be a blast, though -- and, as a bonus, I don't have to go to work on Friday (my single, blessed day off. I have a feeling I'll be sleeping for most of it).

It's raining again. I'm so tried of the rain: it's making my already-melancholy mood even worse. Plus driving in it sucks.

well, its raining just as bad, if not worse, over here. at least you dont have to go work in a swampy yard for an angry father bellowing for the yard to be mowed!
