A meme!
Mary Sue Meme:
1. Use fanfiction.net's Search >> Story By Summary and look up your name in either Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.
2. If there are any Mary Sues that share your name, pick the worst-sounding one and post the summary.
Now, there's nothing for LotR -- and there is apparently only one Teri-Sue in the Harry Potter summaries of fanfiction.net. But, it's so absolutely dreadful that it completely makes up for the lack of others.
It is, appropriately, and perhaps unfortunately, a Snapefic. A PWP Snape/student fic, at that. Without paragraph breaks. *runs away*
Before Dark: Teri White, a 7th year Slytherin student, and an orphan takes refuge in the care of the Potion Master. Eventually it lead to things other than parenting. ^.~
And, just for emphasis, the first paragraph, which is a condensed history of our, er, lovely heroine:
Teri White. She was a sixth year Slytherin in Hogwarts. She had started there at the age of ten; her birthday was in November so she was still younger than her peers. After her first week there, news of a Death Eater attack filled the school and the victims were her parents. Orphaned, she couldn't go anywhere else so she sought refuge with Professor Snape. The most unlikely of people, was her first pick. She loved the man dearly, but as a father figure. And after much coaxing, he allowed her to stay in his chambers. Severus grew fond of the girl after a few weeks of her staying with him. She slept in his bed when she was in her first three years. Poor child was frightened of being alone and the dark. It was surprising that Teri chose him, being a former Death Eater. But she stayed with him and loved him unconditionally. It was pleasant to have someone around to kill that awful silence that accompanied him when night fell.
"Professor?! Wake up! It's morning!" Teri called, sitting atop the Potion's Master. Her slender form was perched on his lower abdomen as she waited for him to wake.

As told by Hermione: My friend, Theresa, is the coolest person you’ll ever meet. She’s got some great stories to tell. I’ve known her since preschool and we’ve gone on camping trips with each other in Girl Scouts. We like to reminisce about those camping trips from hell! LOL! Theresa has short, dark brown hair. It comes a little past her shoulders. She has mysterious brown eyes. She has glasses but they just add to the mysteriousness. She’s taller than I am and is skinny. She’s really smart and when you’re with Theresa, you NEVER have a boring or bad time! She doesn’t go to Hogwarts. She goes to Merlin’s Academy for Wizards and Witches. She’s going out with Harry because I set them up. Well, here’s the story.
So in fanfiction, I'm either an underaged student sleeping with Snape, or a teenybopper dating Harry. Liek, OMG, so totally me!
