chick rock! yay!
I just got back from the Sarah McLachlan concert... woo fun! It was an awesome show. Not quite as, er, energetic as Depeche Mode or anything, but absolutely great nonetheless. She's fantabulous to hear live, and she played a lot of her older songs. Much with the funness.
I went with DiDi, Celeste and Leslie; scored the ticket yesterday when I heard that Sharon -- my former manager's wife -- had backed out of going to the concert with them. We met up at the store and ate at an Indian restaurant; I've only had Indian food, I think, once, and several years ago at that. Delicious, anyway. I had a chicken curry dish with naan bread that was to die for -- though I can definitely say that it's one of those things you have to be in the mood for.
I also had a very strong and cloyingly sweet drink -- mango and pineapple juice, and rum -- which I shall be sure to avoid in the future. :P
I made an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow. Just layers... but I'm nervous about it anyway. Hopefully it won't turn out scary and horrid. *crosses fingers*
And with that, it's bedtime...
