I apologize for the blogging dry spells. I am busy.
Things to do this week:
-- Make myself go to class.
-- Make a canvas stretcher.
-- Stretch canvas.
-- Work.
-- Finish my English literature journals. Now.
-- Submit a scholarship application. Now.
-- Get a passport.
-- More work.
-- Painting homework.
-- Grocery shopping.
-- Crawl into bed and sleep for a week.
The sad thing is, it's only February. Sigh. I am so pathetic.
To make things worse, I've had to dispell the seedlings of a very disturbing plot bunny that were planted in my mind today. It involved a hero named Ramen Noodle... Yes, be afraid; be very afraid. That wasted a good two hours of my day, and also introduced me to the most bizarre food-product website I have ever seen:
Pot Noodle.
It's essentially British ramen... but the Pot Noodle site is FAR more entertaining than Top Ramen online. The "Fork of Transcendence" is particularly amusing -- although there are also videos, a game (in which you get killed by a giant mullet -- yes, the hairstyle -- if you lose), and even a REALLY odd screensaver. It's absolutely hilarious. It also reaffirms my contention that English people are very weird. Yes, Alec, that includes you. And speaking of which, I think we all want to know how you managed to graduate from college without living on instant soup at least part of the time. As Natasha said, you really ought to share your secret with your less fortunate, Top Ramen-consuming friends. ;)
In non-noodle-related news, I have to work at eight-thirty in the morning tomorrow until five in the afternoon. I am officially declaring this the World's Worst Shift, and I do not look forward to it. Someone shoot me. Then maybe I can call in sick.
At this point, I should probably go to bed, or at least finish my homework. I think I'm going to curl up and read though. I've procrastinated this long; a few more hours won't kill me. :)
