It's the return of the Friday Five!
1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why? She-Ra. No question. She was a beautiful, courageous princess who was able to transform into a superwoman and defeat various bad guys to save Etheria from Hordak's evil reign. I mean, come on. How can you beat a cartoon like that?
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got? Painting lessons. I'm making up for that now, of course. :)
3. What's the furthest from home you've been? Hm, in what sense? And which home? In a literal sense, the furthest I have been from the house in which my family lives would probably be when I visited New York City in June 2001. If you look at it another way, the furthest I've been from home is here in Austin, since I am no longer living with my family. But who says being "far from home" is always a bad thing?
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet? How to actually speak Spanish fluently, or how to read music.
5. What are your plans for the weekend? Work, work, and work. And homework. That is all.
