A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

I'm doing something that I once thought impossible.

It's shocking. Unimaginable. Frightening, even.

But, believe it or not...

I'm cutting back on the coffee.

GASP.

Yes, I know, it's totally uncharacteristic. But I've come to the conclusion that having coffee in the evenings is not doing anything to help with my insomnia -- therefore, I've decided that my days of late lattes must come to an end. This is especially disappointing, as I work the evening shift most of the time, and darn it, I really want that latte at work. So, I am currently on the search for a substitute.

I know that the obvious choice would be a decaf latte, but I'd prefer something that has a little caffeine, so that I don't get sleepy while at work. Tea can serve that purpose -- but I really don't like drinking iced tea in the evenings, considering that I know it's been sitting out all day. So today, I tried a Tazoberry and Creme Frappuccino. The Tazoberry has tea in it -- and therefore caffeine -- but not nearly as much as my grande latte. It tastes kind of like a raspberry smoothie. So far, it's the best thing I've come across to substitute for my usual latte.

Of course, I won't want to touch it once the weather starts getting cooler. I still need a hot substitute drink for the evenings, but I can worry about that later.

In other news, my number of minor "accidents" this week are reaching a record high. I think I have a subconscious death wish for myself. Either that, or my messed up internal clock is really getting to me.
