Remember how I said, a few weeks ago, that my design class was going to kick my butt this year? Well, I was right.
Let it suffice to say that my chair is an artistic disaster. It turned out nothing like what I intended, and the construction is just lousy. Plus, due to unfortunate things gone wrong, I was unable to stain it today. Or, rather, I could have started staining it, but I would still have been unable to finish it, so I decided that it was best to leave it all unvarnished. And tomorrow is the critique. Gah.
I am so angry, I could cry. You know, it is one thing when I put off a project for weeks, and do it at the last minute, and then it turns out horrid. I can understand that. But when I actually put effort into something like this, and I still can't get it to turn out well... that discourages me. Sigh.
I hope this doesn't hurt my average too much. I hope.
