Well, in writing class today, I did not get to finish reading my story. Rather, we just read everyone's on our own. The room has round tables of laptop computers (Macs! Ahh!) networked so we can all access these files. I have no idea if anyone bothered to complete my story, or what they thought overall. Sigh.
My professor complimented us on our "potential" and "creativity," and stated that he was impressed with our output for the first project. He also said that some of the stories were (and I quote) "appallingly long." Now, I read everyone else's stories. They were not more than three pages in length. Mine was eight pages. Gee, I wonder whose work he was talking about?
So, for our next writing assignment, he assigned a word limit of 300-500 words. Hee.
Speaking of the next assignment, you can view it here, if you are so inclined. We were instructed to create a place, describing somewhere that is familiar. Mine's 100 words over the limit, but I'm hoping no one notices. :)
