A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

So, when I wake up in a few hours, it will officially be Moving Day. We've got the U-Haul almost packed, and we only damaged one piece of furniture, which is good, considering my family's unfortunate tendency to end up with all kinds of things nicked or scratched or broken. All that's left to load now is a small chair, the coffee table and the boxes that contain my computer; but as my father has already retired to bed, that will wait for the morning. I have a few things like more clothes and art supplies that will have to go up, too, but that's not much -- and besides, I can fit it in the back of my car.

The process of moving absolutely sucks. But it's not the stuffing-everything-into-the-truck part that really gets me; it's the thought of lugging all that furniture up three flights of stairs, in the hot Texas afternoon. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a long day. But hopefully a rewarding one, in the end.

After tomorrow, though, I may not be around a computer for a week. Or at least not AIM, for those of you with whom I chat; I might be able to email or blog on Sunday. But if not, I hope everyone has a good week, and I'll be back next Saturday. See you then!
