Time for the Friday Five.
1. How long have you had a weblog? I started this thing in February 2002, and I've actually kept up with it, which is the really amazing part.
2. What was your first post about? My first post was about why I was starting a blog (originally to continue my "Random Musings" stories in a different format... yeah, look what happened with that...), along with a general statement of hope that I wouldn't abandon this thing within two weeks.
3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one? I'm happy with my blog as it is, and I've never changed the format, or name, or domain, or stuff like that. I've added a couple of things -- the Quote of the Week and suchlike -- but I haven't tampered much with anything else.
4. What CMS (content management system) do you use? Do you like it or do you want to try something else? I use Blogger and I like it -- except for the rather frequent server blips. But other than that, it's worked well enough.
5. Do you read people who have both a journal and a weblog? Or do you prefer to read people who have all of their writing in one central place? I much prefer to read everything in one place. I mean, really, why have a blog AND a journal? Seems rather redundant in my opinion, but maybe that's just me.
