I was informed today by Liz that Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys mysteries are being released as comic books. I have never been much of a comic collector, but I might have to start.
I usually name The Phantom of the Opera as my first fandom, but actually, Nancy Drew predates Phandom by a couple of years. The Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super-Mysteries were the best. I decided that I really needed to add "Nancy Drew/Frank Hardy" to my LJ interests list, since even now -- ten years after my adolescent affinity for Nancy, Bess and George wore off -- I ship Nancy/Frank. I am most disappointed that no one else seems to share this as an interest, especially since the reviews at amazon.com support this ship.

I do have relatively important things to share regarding my art and its process, daring self-portraits, the wonderfulness that is the Shiny New Manager, progress on the fic-essay, and so forth -- but right now I'm drowsy and full on vegetable soup, so I'll have to save all that for another time.

I ♥ Frank/Nancy... I've not read many of the novels but recently (day before yesterday)I ventured into reading fanfiction on this ship and loved it... And from what I do remember as an adolescent I think I felt the connection back then as well... And ff.net does NOT HAVE ENOUGH!!!
