Random Musings

A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

Today marks the first skip day of the semester. I slept in.

Mm, sleep.

I keep telling myself that I want to save up my skip days for my birthday. We'll see if that actually happens.

In the meantime I do have to get the rest of my books, so I can keep up with my reading assignments. Must do writing assignments as well -- but I've been distracted by the short story. Though, it is probably one of the best things I've done, in terms of style.

Oh, I should note that Ludmilla was a hit with customers, but not so well appreciated by my co-workers. My supervisor last night was quite peeved with the sign, I could tell -- whereas nearly everyone else found it hilarious. I had more people ask me about Ludmilla's drink than any of my other pseudonyms' recommendations, and I even sold one based on the sign -- that's a first.

On the other hand, judging by my supervisor's pursed lips as she noticed my barista board, there's a good chance that my manager will hear about it and tell me to change it. In which case I become Zardok of the planet Zinwold IV, where tall carmel macchiatos act as currency...
