It's not easy being Green
Trying something new with the blog color scheme -- not quite sure about it yet, though. The art is John Singer Sargent's Pomegranates. Links later once I'm absolutely sure I'll keep it this way.

You should all be proud that I resisted the temptation to choose the beautiful, beautiful Palmettos and do the usual green/orange color combination that I'm so fond of. I stepped out of my color comfort zone! Look at me go!
I think John Singer Sargent is my new favorite artist of the moment. If I could paint like Sargent, I would be the happiest of campers. In any case, I highly recommend poking through the Sargent online gallery. He created some amazing stuff.
