I can't believe I almost forgot the most "interesting" part of my day yesterday... hee hee.
After we got back from Assisi and had dinner, the town held a little jazz concert for us in the concert hall. I'm not really a big jazz fan, and I'm still not a jazz fan, but it was a nice gesture and kind of fun. In any case, when I was walking home through the labyrithine streets of Castglion Fiorentino, I heard someone call out to me. I looked up and discovered that I was officially being, shall we say, scoped out by two Italian men of about my age who were leaning out their windows. I was most amused. One of them spoke English rather well, and the other semed to understand it though he peferred to make commentary in Italian, which of course I can't really understand at all. They were actually very friendly, and asked me if I'd seen Matrix: Reloaded yet. I told them no, I hadn't: we'll see if I get to go watch it with an Italian guy. Heh. Something tells me they wouldn't quite appreciate my tendency to make sarcastic comments during movies... ;)
