All is calm here in Tomball -- or as calm as things ever are, anyway, which is good enough for me. Mostly I've just been hanging around at the house or elsewhere with my family, watching movies or shopping or doing nothing, which has made for a much nicer break than I expected. Today we're supposed to drive over to Rockport, Texas, for a day or two of "mini-vacation". Leah and I are bringing our new Chamber of Secrets Lego set along to construct while we're there. I've already made it clear that Lego Tom is coming home with me, possibly with the Lego Basilisk. :)
I received official confirmation yesterday that I have been accepted to the Study in Italy program. Hurrah! I'm getting more and more excited about it, especially with the new year and the new semester approaching. Just a few more months, and I'll be blogging from Tuscany. I can't wait. :)
