Addendum to my last post:
Yesterday, a group of three men came into Starbucks. I greeted them and asked what they would like to drink.
One of them -- a short, stocky man of about thirty or so -- raised his eyebrows suggestively and said, "I'd like you and a peppermint mocha."
I smiled tightly and replied, "Well, you can have the mocha."
You know, one would think that men would learn, at some point, that pick-up lines like this don't work.
