A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

It's already November -- can you believe it? This year has flown by.

Mass this morning for All Saints Day was way too early for me to get up for, so I'll end up going at 6pm instead -- and then driving back to Tomball from there. I'm going home this weekend to spend some time with the family; regretfully, I never got my schedule entirely fixed, so I still have to come in to work on Sunday morning, which means I'll have to leave early, either late Saturday night or at about 6am on Sunday morning. But that's OK; I'll be going back on the 16th to see La Boheme at the Houston Opera. Yay. :)

Actually, November should be a pretty good month in general -- Thanksgiving, last days of classes, Chamber of Secrets opening, Houston Opera -- plus on the 29th, I'll actually get to meet Melanie in real life, which I'm really looking forward to. At the moment, we plan to have lunch and take in a showing of Chamber of Secrets, unless we think of something better to do. It should be fun. :)

Although, I must admit, I am a little nervous about meeting someone I've only known online. Just a bit. Some people seem to find this rather amusing, for whatever reason; I even find it a trifle odd, myself, since I thought I'd never be at all anxious about meeting any of my online friends. Of course, I have known Melanie for about two years, and I'm sure she won't turn out to be a stalker or something -- but there's still that bit of apprehensiveness, wondering what it'll be like to converse and such in person. Oh, well. I'm sure the feeling will probably dissipate almost as soon as we meet. :)

So, I wore my frog-eye headband last night, and was surprised at the number of people who didn't know what it was. Come on. They're frog eyes. It's not that hard to tell. In the words of Kermit: sheesh!
