A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

So, as I'm waiting for plaster to dry, I decided to blog...

...about basically nothing. What can I say, it was mostly a dull week.

I'm going to refrain from complaining too much about my latest art project. This one is sad enough that it won't even get the benefit of a picture -- so don't ask. It's a project for which I had zero inspiration. That's never a good thing.

My work schedule this week was royally screwed up. Although thankfully I do have the weekend off to go home, I was scheduled to come in at times when I'm in class -- and worst of all, I'm scheduled for Sunday morning. That's not going to work at all; for one, it means I'd have to come back to Austin on Saturday night, and also, I have to go to church at some point during the day -- as of right now, I'd be unable to. Not cool. I'm going to complain. Politely, of course. Although my complaint note will also include a list of days I need off during the holiday season. Heh. I'm sure my manager will really appreciate it.

I have to attend my "mandatory advising" sometime tomorrow or Tuesday. Fun. I'm not sure what exactly is the point of this advising period -- it's not as though any of the advisors have actually helped me. Our conversations usually take two minutes, and go something along the lines of:

ADVISOR: You need these, these and these credits.

ME: I know. I'm planning on taking those, those and those classes.

ADVISOR: Fine by me. Now go away.

All quite pointless, really. I'll probably dig through the course schedule later tonight and figure out what exactly those, those and those classes are.

Halloween is coming up. I'll be working, but I've been trying to think of an impromtu and dress code-appropriate costume I could throw together at the last minute. Just for fun. Anyone have any ideas?
