Yet again, I prove myself ignorant of the Austin famous musician circle.
Eric Johnson is a regular at Starbucks South Lamar. He likes a tall tea -- Tazo "Awake" -- with half hot water and half steamed whole milk, foam on top. (And no, I'm not stalking him -- I just know people by their drinks. :))
I didn't even know the guy was famous till some lady in the drive-through asked me, "Hey, wasn't that Eric Johnson?"
"Who?" I replied blankly.
"Eric Johnson. The guitar player? That was him."
"Oh, the tea guy? Yeah, um, I guess it is."
The drive-through woman just shook her head at me, took her change and her drink, and left.
Oh, well. At least I didn't screw up his drink or something.
