Random Musings

A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

Many, many thanks to Erica for finding this hilarious little waste of time. I don't know how I managed to live without the Markovian Text Randomizer.

Last night, when I was supposed to be studying for my history test that I have to take in three hours, I instead was too busy feeding pieces of The Arithmancer's Apprentice through this thing, generating priceless quotes, some of which I will share here. Yes, that's right, I'm actually posting pieces of the in-progress TAA -- I guess you could call it a spoiler. Of sorts. Though if you can figure out anything from this scrambling of words, I'll be amazed.

"A kind of magical creatures. Visitors to come: the Occamy, who will learn to pot the Griffin hunt in the skills I have killed."

"I see the moment – though I chose not be found."

"Almost as if he didn’t even know why I was Hippogriffs – but with his arm on my niece, he came into the same author – though of my own joke, but there’s plenty at casual conversation."

"As with Phantomsby. I was dressed in ribbons."

"They teach you know,” Cleopatra sniffed, “It’s a feeling of time to send me to Durmstrang, of freedom like it isn’t like it anywhere. It’s one of it like it anywhere. It’s one of a gaggle of freedom like it all."

"They teach you up there – history – they don’t play Exploding Snap or anything. But he doesn’t have any influence at all over there. They teach you up with the enchantments here."

"He was still tearing upstairs, past the stair, and quickly, too, before he doubled back to draw his right as the International Confederation of adrenaline sent him under rows of chairs."

"They were already there, chatting quite jovially under the heaps of junk that might be Jasper."

"His breath caught in expensive-looking robes which lounged about spaceships absolutely crammed with a sinking heart."

"A frail-looking man in the half-blood from a Parselmouth, having the day in, perused the smell of the orphaned Tom Riddle."

"He realised, now, the importance of being able to complete his great ancestor, and it quickly became an obsession for Salazar Slytherin himself, and Tom’s fervent desire for his life."

"It was, in the rest of Dr. Gryme, that the orphaned Tom first discovered that she might be a mere few months before a thousand years."

And, my personal favorite:

"Mr. Knowles it all."

However, the best moment was when Alec, my co-author, decided to scramble my email in which I had quoted some of the more humorous TAA randomizations. He came up with this:

"*giggles inanely* Hee!! I have killed."

As Alec put it, "It is a cross between Teri and Tom Riddle... sounds so like you."

I haven't laughed so hard in a long, long time.
