A highly biased and selective look at the college life of Teri

Adrienne's wedding last night was simply lovely. She looked beautiful, the Bushnell was spectacular, the food was delicious, and it appeared that a good time was had by all, or at least most. I'm usually not the type to tear up at weddings, but with my own high emotional tides of the last month, I couldn't help but get a little misty-eyed as Adrienne and Peter stood hand in hand, and Adrienne's little sister (herself rather tearful) hugged them.

But then we toasted the bride and groom with shots of tequila, and I was misty-eyed for an entirely different reason.

Adrienne has the honour of being the first of my friends to get married; her wedding was, in fact, the first non-Catholic, non-Krenek wedding I've attended. It is very odd to think that, quite possibly, many of my friends and acquaintances will be married in the next few years or so. (The corrollary to this is that it certainly won't be me, but we're going to try not to follow that line of thinking. Whee.)
