I must use some brief profanity.
Why the fuck can't people be competent enough to let me know where my luggage is???
I have reason to believe that my suitcase is currently stuck in the lost and found in Chicago O'Hare airport. It was supposed to have been shipped from Chicago to Houston last night on United Airlines flight 627.
That flight, it appears, was cancelled.
Having called about 4806830948 different people in affiliation with four or five different airlines and two different airports, I am no closer to reconciling myself with my missing bag. The tracking number (though it does say the bag is still being traced) supposedly indicates that my baggage has arrived in Houston on last night's cancelled flight, but it simply can't be so, and I've no idea whether Alitalia plans on making new arrangements for my stuff to make it to Houston.
In any case, I go back to work tomorrow, which means I have to go home without my clothes.
I'll be dressing like serious trash for the next few days, I fear.
AAAAARGGGGGGHHHH!!! I hate the world.
