I speak Internet English. :)
Adrienne and I are going to collaborate on a project for our respective linguistics classes.
OK, so it seems weird for two people in different classes at different universities to collaborate on a project online. But for the topic it's quite apropros.
We're going to investigate IM and written Internet English compared to spoken and written English, and discuss whether Internet English functions as a broad dialect.
This project's going to rock.
