Ficlet
So, I've decided that I'm going to go ahead and post Waking Time without the inclusion of Alec's input (sorry, Alec). I want a little feedback, what can I say? Even though most of you who care have already read this in beta. Oh, well. :)
Of course, I think Alec does have a few legitimate points that he has noted, and I'll revise accordingly when he's done looking over it. But I'm pretty happy with the current version and have no real qualms uploading it as is.
I won't be archiving this anywhere yet as it'll probably be a prologue to a larger fanfic, assuming that story ever gets written. But here it is, for those who are interested:
