I finished Paladin of Souls last night, and I loved it. A little predictable in a spot or two, but it definitely kept me entertained throughout. Characterization, as always with Bujold, is marvellous. Royina Ista is now one of my favorite characters in the Chalion books. Erica, I'll be shipping it off to you tomorrow. :) The first chapter of the book is online, for those of you who are interested.
I'll also be taking a day trip to Tomball tomorrow for an optometrist appointment -- and more importantly, to see Jen! I haven't seen Jen in person since... forever. Not that there's much to do in T-town, but I'm sure we can hang out and find something with which to entertain ourselves. Let me know if you have any ideas, Jen. :)
Work called a minute ago to let me in that I don't have to go in until 4 this afternoon! Woo! Today is a good day.
