The Friday Five:
1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.? Well, I prefer bottled or purified water -- but I drink tap water most of the time because I refuse to pay for bottled.
2. What is your favourite flavor of chips? Sour cream and onion.
3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most? Well, the list of "all the things" I can cook is really short... but I do like my cheesecake. Mmm, cheesecake.
4. How do you have your eggs? Usually scrambled. Sometimes I like hard-boiled, but I don't eat the yolks.
5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out? Um... I think Micki made chicken spaghetti... a long, long time ago. It was good, but we're so anti-cooking that we hardly make anything that doesn't involve the microwave. Sad, I know.
I had a revelation last night. As many of you know, I have been, shall we say, somewhat concerned about finding an English copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix while I am in Italy. So, last night, while Micki and I were walking through the mall and I noticed several posters advertising the impending release of Book Five, a thought struck me:
I can preorder the book and have it sent to me in Italy.
DUH. Can someone explain why this idea never occurred to me before? I swear, sometimes I have no brain.
In other news, I started packing today. I have a pile of clothes strewn across my bed, and about four items in the suitcase. Now that's progress, let me tell you.
